I'm loving the images we captured during this indoor, at-home, family photo session! There are so many ways to make images bright, cozy and an intimate reflection of your family, even during the coldest times of year. It didn't hurt that this momma had a fantastic sense of style. The kids were comfy in their knitted sweaters, and mom's blue nail polish (which perfectly matched her top) made me want to shop for one of my own! I hope you enjoy the images as much as I do!
Big Brothers! / Bethesda Maternity and Newborn Photographer
I love the real-life moments that my clients deliver at every photo session. These two adorable boys became big brothers seven weeks ago! I was lucky enough to meet their new sister today (and look forward to getting some of that session online soon)! For now, here's a flashback to their family before they became a family of five! (We played some at-home-in-the-curtain peekaboo as you'll see below – I bet their little sister will be joining in that fun in no time!)
Springtime Sessions / MD & DC Maternity Photographer
Based on the percent of my family sessions that are also maternity sessions this spring, I believe the DC-area may be in for a baby boom this summer! This family had gorgeous sunshine and green backdrops for their baby-on-the-way session. I'm in love with the blue and pink color scheme they chose for their session outfits! Their almost-two-year-old was all smiles and sweetness. I'm certain she is going to be one of the loveliest big sisters!
I haven't been very good about posting to my blog. (i.e., I haven't posted consistently to my blog in a few years!) But, I'm looking forward to turning over a new leaf this year! To help, I have plans to hire a wonderfully talented assistant to help with social media. Interviews are currently underway. Stay tuned! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy some of the images from this maternity session!
Darling Images of Darling Children / Potomac Children's Photographer
I was honored to be contacted by a grandmother who wanted to capture her grandchildren at the precious ages of three-years old, and 10-months old. I must admit, we had such fun during the session! Upon my arrival, we played a few games to get to know each other. And, we found the very thing that put this darling princess at ease: an imaginary tea party complete play session, and we spoke in English accents! I love the expressions we captured and I hope you do, too!
