I had a lovely time with this family and their adorable baby girl! We were able to take advantage of the beautiful backdrops both inside and outside their home. (Mom clearly has a knack for interior design!) And, their little one gave us huge smiles, bright eyes, and a cute little curl on top of her head. She is too precious! I loved meeting this family at such a special time in their lives. Their gorgeous baby boy was so relaxed and content during our session. 'Tis the season for remembering everyone we love. I love receiving holiday cards in the mail. In the age of Facebook, there is something special about anything personal that comes via postal mail this days. Of course, I am partial to holiday cards with photos. It is amazing to see how quickly kids and families grow. And, getting the beautiful and fun images brings a smile to my face each time. I thought I'd share one card this year. Working Out on the Job * First Birthday Family Portraits
I have to say, this one-year-old gave me a workout during our session! He had his nose pressed up against the front door window when I arrived (I've included a quick snapshot of that moment)! I thought he was waiting for me, but he was really waiting to get out. As soon as we were outside for our portrait session, he took off! Such a change from the sleepy baby he was during our newborn session. I had a blast listening to him chat "adadadada" while he tore through the neighborhood. And, he was too cute as he giggled and jiggled when we were putting his shoes on. I absolutely love this age, and this little guy is such a charmer. The first picture below may be one of my all-time favorites -- just look at that face! I wish I had some audio to share, too! I hope you enjoy these images from our session.
