This family and I explored Wheaton Regional Park and the neighboring Brookside Gardens one crisp fall morning. We had a ton of fun taking advantage of the nature, playground and enchanting forest. I'm so pleased with the final images. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites below.
Rock Star or Future Scientist! / Eastern Market Children's Photographer
This two-year-old is destined for greatness. She was savvy, stylin' and silly. We had a great time stomping (literally) around Eastern Market in Washington, DC for this family portrait session. I hope you enjoy some of the images from this session. Can you feel the two-year-old energy?!
Fall Family Portraits / Chevy Chase Outdoor Portrait Photographer
I love this family. They are so sweet together. When I arrived, the boys ran to the door to greet me as if I was part of the family! I got to hear a lot about their favorite things. And, we spent some time inside and outside of their home capturing them in action. I've included a few favorite images from their session below. And, because it never ceases to amaze me how quickly children grow...I've also included a few images from their maternity and newborn sessions. (The oldest was just 7 days old.) Time flies, and children just keep getting cuter!
And, here are a few from their prior sessions! How did that little baby grow so fast?!
Summer Fun / Maryland Children's Photographer
While most of my weeks are spent photographing families and their young babies and children, occasionally I make room in my schedule for commercial work, corporate headshots and social events. It's always such fun for me to re-experience these areas of photography. They are where I got my start, after all! I usually don't post these sessions on this blog. But the following session at a local preschool blurred the lines between my portrait work with families, and my former work with organizations! So, I thought I'd share a few here. This school, with its focus on all things natural, is one of the best in the area. It also has one of the best summer camp experiences in town!
