Ah, if only summer was longer! I'm sure you are all thinking the same thing, as we settle into the cooler weather and our new routines. This summer was so busy that I didn't keep up with blogging as usual. I'm just getting time to post these curly-haired sisters -- true beauties!! And, a quick glimpse at a newborn session. Looking forward to a fall full of sweet sessions as well! I hope to get to post more images this season!

Welcome little guy!
Oh how I love unique locations for photo sessions! This family suggested a location close to the dad's work, and it was spectacular -- lots of varied backdrops and beautiful light. I think the images capture each family member's natural glow and warmth. We ran around a small section of Old Town, VA, right up until sunset -- and a bit past dinner time! But, it was worth it! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites.
Much to my surprise, I actually knew this little cutie before we met for our session. We had bumped into each other in a Barnes and Noble at the children's section train table! My two-year-old son and he had the same shoes on (and probably wanted the same choo-choo to play with, too)! It was a lovely surprise to see him again, and to have the opportunity to catch his bright blue eyes in these images. His family was warm and lovely and I'm so pleased with their gallery. I have to admit, I was personally in love with this little guy and his amazing parents -- so much so that I almost posted the entire session to my blog!! After quite a bit of back and forth, I finally narrowed down my selections to these. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Happy spring!
